Jimbo la Moshi liliondokewa na mpendwa wao Padre Canute Temu aliyefariki Dunia tarehe 21/07/2012. Mazishi yalifanyika tarehe 28/07/2012 yakiongozwa na Mhashamu Baba Askofu Mstaafu Amedeus Msarikie akizindikizwa na Mamia ya Mapadre na Watawa, Waumini wa Kanisa na Mt. Yosefu Mwenge - Longuo na waumini kutoka Parokia alizohudumia Padre Canute wakati wa uhai wake. Tunatoa pole sana kwa Mhashamu Askofu Isaac Amani wa Jimbo la Moshi, Mapdre, Wanafamilia, Watawa, na Waumini wote wa Moshi na kwingineko kwa msiba huu mkubwa. Kwa imani tunajituliza tukijua kwamba Mwana alitoa na Bwana ametwaa, Jina lake Tukufu na lihimidiwe - Apumzike wa amani : Amina.

CDNK CELEBRATES 75 JUBILEE OF THEIR ORDER - September 8, 2009
The Sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro [Moshi Diocesan Order] Celebrated the 75th Jubilee of their order on September 8th. Polcarp Cardinal Pengo was the main celebrant of the Mass to color the occation. Bishop Isaac Amani of Moshi and other two bishops with hundreds of Priests were concelebrants. Many Religious, laity and distinguished governmental and non-governmental leaders were among the atendee. The order is planing to establish a new Secondary school in honor of their founder. We continue to pray for the growth of spirit and mission their order in the Church of Christ.
Rev. Fr. Herman Tarimo Died on July 17, 2009
The Rt. Rev. Bishop Isaac Amani, the Clergy, Religious and the Lay Faithful of Moshi diocese, received with deep sorry the news of the death of our beloved priest, Rev. Fr. Herman Tarimo. Fr. Tarimo was born at Mkuu Parish – Rombo. He was ordained a deacon on July 1st, 1973 and a priest on June 30th, 1974. Tarimo died on July 17, 2009 after long illness leading to kidney failure. The funeral Mass and internment was held at The Sacred Heart Priest’s Center – Longuo on July 23rd 2009. Our sincere condolence to Bishop Amani, the Family, Clergy, Laity and friends of Fr. Tarimo. We are all praying for the repose of his soul. May the Lord, whom Fr. Tarimo loved so much and served so faithfully reward him eternal life. May he rest in Peace - AMEN
BISHOP AMANI ORDAINS 9 NEW PRIESTS.
On July 9, 2009 Bishop Amani ordained 9 Deacons to the order of Priesthood. Among these 9 new priests, two are Moshi diocesan priests and 7 belong to different religious orders. Joined by almost all the diocesan clergy, religious, families of the ordained and thousands of lay faithful, Bishop Amani presided over the Solemn Mass of ordination in Christ the King Cathedral. Moshi diocese is forever thankful to God for the gift of vocations. We thank all who were ivolved in the long journey of these new priests: parests, priests, religious, teachers, siblings, friends and benefectors. We congratulate all the new priests, children of Moshi diocese and wish them God's blessings as they begin their new ministry in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, our Master. In a special way we feel proud of our two diocesan new priests, Rev. Fr. Erasmus Swai from St. Catherine of Sienna- Mkuu Parish and Rev. Fr. Paul Vumilia from St. Augustine- Marangu Makomu Parish.
RIGHT REVEREND BISHOP ISAAC AMANI VISIT IN THE USA
His Excellency Bishop Isaac Amani had a successful visit to three States in the USA. He landed on Portland Airport on April 28, 2009. Among other areas he visited were Portland city, University of Portland [of Holy Cross Fathers], Seaside at our Lady of Victory Parish, St. Pius X Parish in Portland, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Mount Angel Benedictine Seminary, and Chancery office of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. Bishop Amani had chance also of visiting and celebrating Mass with seven Tanzanian Priests and 7 Holy Spirit Sisters who are serving or studying in the area.
On the 11 of May, 2009 Bishop Amani left Portland for Milwaukee – Wisconsin for one day trip after which he headed to Canton Ohio where he stayed from 13 to 26 May, 2009 when he returned back home. In Ohio he visited his Alma Mater – Walsh University where he studied in 1986-1989. Bishop Amani had a chance to St. Clara Monastery where he celebrated Mass and spend some time with the nuns of Poor Clare of Perpetual Adoration. He also had a day with CDNK nuns, [Mary Auxilia Mtuy, Walter Minja and Anna Maria Moshi] who are studying in Canton and Cleveland. He also visited some parishes including Little Flower Parish, St. Paul – North Canton, St. Michael the Archangel- Canton, St. Joseph Parish – Dover, Sts. Philip and James – Canal Fulton. He had good time with the Brothers of Christian Instruction as he was their chaplain when he was studying at Walsh. Bishop Amani had an opportunity to have a formal business meeting with the Board of Directors of the Moshi Diocese Seminary Foundation after which he addressed the sponsors of our Moshi Seminarians. His visit was a blessing to every person and place he visited and to Moshi Diocese. May God bless him with good health and wisdom as he continues to guide us all as our Great Shepherd of Moshi.

Amandus Kitutu Urassa. Fr. Urassa was born at Mashati Parish on September 9th, 1945. Fr. Amandus was the son of Matthew Teryananga and Mariana Makafui. His ordination to Deaconate was on January 7th, 1973 and to Priesthood on June 6th 1974.Fr. Urassa died on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at K.C.M.C Hospital. Fr. Urassa died at the age of 66 and 37 years of priesthood. The funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Church - Longuo at 12 Noon, and internment will be held at The Sacred Heart Priest’s Center – Longuo on May 30th 2011. Our sincere condolence to Bishop Amani, the Family, Clergy, Laity and friends of Fr. Amandus Urassa. We are all praying for the repose of his soul. May the Lord, whom Fr. Urassa loved so much and served so well reward him eternal Peace -AMEN
