SHORT HISTORY OF OUR 5 HOSPITALS.

1.  Kibosho Hospital

Status:  Designated District Hospital

 History

Kibosho Hospital started as a dispensary in 1929. The existing wards were built between 1958 and 1965. The outpatient department is one of the original buildings erected in 1929. The hospital is owned and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Moshi. It is a Designated District Hospital and also serves an extension of the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre and has a capacity of 180 beds.

History

This is a 280 bed hospital owned and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Moshi. It is a designated District Hospital for the District of Rombo. The buildings for the hospital were built in 1968. It provides medical and surgical services and has a Nurses training school.

 History

The hospital started as a dispensary in 1920 and upgraded to a hospital in 1976. It became a District Designated Hospital in 1984 with a capacity of 70 beds. It provides general medical and surgical services as well as a Primary Health Care Programme.
